Regional Simulation Trainee Rep Opportunity.

Katherine Williamson

The Faculty of Patient Safety Simmulation, Immersive and Human Factors group is seeking applications for a trainee representative.

The Simulation Trainee Representative role is an exciting opportunity to get involved with Simulation at a regional level. As trainee representative you will attend the regional Simulation Immersion & Human Factors meetings in order to represent trainees' views and advocate on their behalf. You will not only gain leadership experience but also find out what's going on regionally and nationally with simulation. You will be involved with the development & delivery of an introductory course for newly starting simulation and teaching fellows.

Roles are limited to the Medical and Dental Resident Doctors who are Sim Fellows or those who are in Teaching Fellow roles for minimum of 12 months and working within the North East & North Cumbria region. The individual must be in receipt of an ARCP 1 or 2 from the previous year. Application must have approval from your supervisor or line manager.

We also offer to sponsor your attendance at the upcoming ASPiH Simulation conference in Edinburgh (3-5 November 24).

If you are interested, then please request an Expression of Interest form and send it back to england.quality.ne@nhs.net by the 18th October 2024.
