The network is supporting an afternoon of training for simulation fellows and teaching fellows to develop their knowledge and understanding of Human Factors in order be confident in delivering human factors information to other medical and healthcare staff within their organisation. The session will be delivered by the HEE NE Human Factors Steering Group Faculty and Alumni.
Non technical skills features heavily in the debriefing of simulation based education and touches freqently on the larger areas of Human Factors and therefore requires teaching and simulation fellows to have a base knowledge of the topic to be credible educators.
The session will be held on the afternoon of the 15th October, likely in the Durham area with the venue to be confirmed once numbers have been establised.
This is also open to any trainees, consultant or educators who would like to develop their knowledge in this area.
