The MELISSA fleet includes two state-of-the-art double-decker buses, each fully equipped with the latest technology and training equipment. Inside, you'll find a dynamic learning environment featuring high-quality audio/visual systems, advanced medical training manikins, clinical trainers, and reliable Wi-Fi. Comfortable seating areas, tables, and an extendable awning create the perfect setting for a range of activities.
The mobile venue is designed to deliver healthcare initiatives across the region in harder to reach areas, or areas and organisations which don’t have capacity or support services in place.
Anyone can request MELISSA to deliver healthcare and training initiatives of approximately 8-10 attendees if:

They are delivering NHS education/training

It improves our trainees/wider work force

It improves Patient Safety
-
It promotes training and education in the NHS and/or social care sector in the North East and North Cumbria
MELISSA's facilities:
Space upper deck for clinical suite with ‘control room’

Seating area lower deck for debriefing simulation exercises or seated learning.
